Before you even start thinking about a guardian you need to have carefully selected and received an offer of a place for your child to study at a boarding school in the UK. This is a critical and difficult decision for anyone, let alone when you are trying to do it from another country. It is also not something that you as parents can afford to get wrong. We appreciate that it is also an emotional and significant financial decision, all making it critical to get it right. Although league tables do tell a story they, do not tell the whole story and our experience, knowledge and contacts ensure that the whole picture is considered.

We deal with everything from the initial enquiry to your child’s first day at their new school. We fundamentally believe that there are no such thing as good and bad schools: there is a school that is right for your child and we are passionate about helping you to find it. We are not tied or limited to any schools and so we can place a child in any school in the UK. We take everything into account, including academic ability, personality, interests, family values, ethos, aspirations, financial etc.

We have a 3 stage approach:

Stage 1 – on receipt of your initial enquiry, we ask you to complete our school selection enquiry form. This helps us to understand what you as parents are looking for. We then arrange a remote video call ideally with you as the parents, but if language is a barrier just with the student. From this we create a shortlist of schools which we believe would be suitable, together with details of the individual schools’ assessment process, background, scholarship opportunities, timescales, fees etc. Having agreed the final shortlist of schools with you we then coordinate the school visits, interviews and assessments. As part of this stage, we work with the student to prepare them for the interview and assessments.

Stage 2 – we coordinate all aspects of the assessment visits in the UK

  • Arrange assessments, visits and interviews and guide family/student through this process
  • Accompany student/parent to each school

Stage 3 – we coordinate all the results and offers and help guide parents/students through the decision-making process. Once a school has been selected we arrange the completion of all necessary acceptance, payment of deposits, joining instructions etc.
